The CARME-18SPW1.1 from Sound Town is an active PA subwoofer that boasts concert-quality sound in a compact and easy-to-use package. Equipped with a powerful and efficient class-D amplifier, this subwoofer delivers up to 2200 watts of power through a high-quality transducer, resulting in punchy bass and earthshaking output. With a handling capacity of 600W RMS and 1200W peak output, it produces low frequencies as low as 32Hz. The subwoofer is also capable of powering a satellite PA speaker, delivering an additional 500W RMS and 1000W peak power output through its Speakon output.

The CARME-18SPW1.1 comes with a built-in Digital Signal Processor (DSP) that provides extended low-end frequency response to enhance performance. The DSP also offers system optimization with presets for various applications, allowing users to tailor the sound to the venue for optimal performance. With dynamic bass enhancement, RMS dynamic processor, and second-order IIR low-pass filter built in, the subwoofer is able to produce deep and clean bass.
