Legendary artists such as Fleetwood Mac, Neil Young, Rick Springfield, Tom Petty, and Nirvana, among others, all captured their magic within these walls. It was revered as hallowed ground for rock and roll.

Directed by Dave Grohl (of Nirvana and Foo Fighters fame), SOUND CITY tells the story of authentic rock and roll history, featuring interviews and performances by the iconic musicians who made their mark within the studio. The film celebrates the human element of music, as Grohl collaborates with some of rocks greatest artists to create a new album. They harness the power of Sound City's legendary analog console to continue to produce musical miracles in a digital world.
